The empire officially recognizes three unions of worlds by it's charter. The purpose of the Union is to provide unified voting power in the empire Assembly chamber. This is the place where worlds cast votes on declarations, charters, elections, and anything else official. When a vote is called all of the Union's worlds cast the same vote in unity. Each union has exactly 6 worlds, and therefore 6 votes of the total 22 of the Assembly. The empire charter declares a vote passed if 10 or more votes are for it, meaning two unions in agreement can force a vote. Here are the unions of the empires:

- **People's Republic of Etheria (PRE)**: Formed based on the common distrobution of wealth and assests, in their own quaterly meetings the six worlds of the PRE move assests between their worlds nobles to maintain a balance. They are trade focuses primarly with outer worlds only, with a focus on the core outer worlds specifically.

- **Solar Nexus Consortium (SNC)**: Formed based on a focus of military superiority, and more than 60% of military assests belong to the SNC. However because of this, they are heavily dependent on agricultural support from both the WAW worlds and the Rim Outer Worlds.
- **Worker Aligned Worlds (WAW)**: Formed based on a focus of mass industry and production. While both the PRE and SNC worlds import more than they export, the WAW worlds export nearly twice what they import in galactic holocred. What they do import, they import from the Non-union empire worlds.
